Bin or freeze?

Bought some lovely chicken breasts yesterday (expensive) and didn't see the bloody date on them.... 28/06

They are unopened, it will only be me eating them but shall I bin or freeze?

Caveat to say a relative of DP died of complications following salmonella (sp) poisoning years ago so he is extra paranoid and its rubbed off on me.

It's only 8 hours 'past' use by. I'd freeze them, or id cook them and they'll last a couple of days cooked kept in the fridge

Sniff test!

Yes, do the look and smell ok?

If in any doubt, bin them if not chicken bbq for tea 😎

Smell fine, in the freezer but I've marked them so know to use them myself.
