Do you have a doorbell?

Inspired by the doorbell update thread.

I’ve lived in 5 houses (that I’ve owned myself) and for some reason none of them have ever had a doorbell. Is this unusual? It’s never crossed my mind that I don’t have a doorbell.

Thinking about it, only one of those houses actually had a door knocker, people just have to properly knock on our door with their hand!

We haven’t got one.

Live rurally so don’t really have people passing etc. Friends knock and shout then come in, parcels are rare as i dont like online shopping much but if we do get anything its put through the utility window or left in the log shed.

We have sheep in the field next to the house and they bleat noisily if they hear the gate open. Seriously. no need for a bell with them about!

Yes, we don't hear the knocker if we're in the garden. I have a couple of friends who don't have a bell or knocker, I hate having to knock with my knuckles.
