Tax credits

Can anyone tell me when tax credits will end after my son finishes his A levels?
On the form it says it will end at the end of August but he has finished his A levels and going to uni in September/October. I know we don't get it when he goes to uni, but does it run on till august?.

AmyFl, thanks, I have managed to get through to them and yes, they have said for both child tax credits and child benefit it is August.
