Hols to Spain on Sunday, very worried about heatwave & forest fires☹️

We're off to Spain on Sunday with 2 young kids. We're going to Salou not too far from the forest fires in Tarragona...
Aibu to be very worried? Is there anyone mumsnetter in Spain at the moment that can advise on what the temps actually feel?

A quick look online shows it to be 30-34 degrees which isn't that out of the ordinary i wouldn't think.

Stay near the pool, shade/inside between 11-2, plenty of water and ice lollies.

Salou will be much cooler than other parts of Spain next week - highs of only 28/29. You'll be absolutely fine. It's 40 degrees where I am today and I'm surviving without aircon. Just!

You will be fine down in resort, the fires are all up in the hills.

Thanks for the replies, was freaking out this morning when I read the fires were still burning. Thank God no one died... Hopefully by Sunday the temps will have lowered a bit.
