For those following my doorbell in the night post. A little update for you. After I had the Ring Doorbell installed the calls stopped immediately. The police explained who the callers were likely to be as linked to an ongoing case for a previous tenant in a neighbouring flat. I had been given an ornament to put outside my flat by them and the callers mistook my flat for there’s. Without going into too much detail. The callers were not filled with good intention and I removed the ornament at the same time as the Ring doorbell was installed so could also be a reason they stopped calling
However. Last night I heard the doorbell go several times. It wasn’t showing as motion and the alert didn’t come up on my phone. I heard the doorbell coming from my wardrobe and searched it this morning and found nothing. Very odd and not sure if connected. I thought at first I was dreaming that I heard the doorbell, but I woke at 2.30 and whilst awake it went again and definitely coming from somewhere in my room. Very odd and not sure what to think. A haunted wardrobe perhaps lol.
Thank you for your responses and support on the previous thread. I wanted to update you as I know how frustrating it is when a thread vanished and people who were following it don’t know the outcome.
