Having an inpromptu family gathering for my middle DDs 11th bday on Sunday.

Going to decorate the garden - what else can I do to make it special - did a piñata last year - could do again but any novel ideas of what to fill it with?

Also, will do all 4 kids party bags 3 girls, 14, 11, 7 - and 2 yr old DS - what can I fill them with?!?!!

Have amazon prime and can go to average sized high st tomo?

Thanks!

Smiggle have a very good sale on at the moment if you have one of those locally, to put little gifts in the piñata. For my daughters' party I've bought loads of craft kits and they're starting by decorating T-shirts to cover their party clothes. Different craft kits for different ages would be easy too.

Little makeup bits or bath smellies for the girls party bags.
Lots of bubbles with the big wands for during the party.
Maybe some cheap tennis rackets or badminton rackets and balls/shuttlecocks if you have space in the garden.
You could set up a craft table if you're feeling energetic!

It doesn't cost much to buy some cheap plain white t shirts, some fabric pens and fabric glue, ribbons, gems and scraps of fabric. They can then take the decorated t shirts home instead of a party bag.

You could fill the piñata with stationery (I’m thinking along the lines of gel pens, washi tape, stickers, rubbers etc....)

Thanks for all the ideas.

I'll do make up/bath stuff for the girls and I'll get some small books for the baby.

Will get bubbles too as EVERYONE loves bubbles 🤣

I'm not sure what to put in piñata - last year I did those mochi squishies - never seen the light of day!

We have soooo many rubbers, mini stationery bits - 3 girls - the house is bursting at the seams with them 🤣

Probably should just go traditional and do sweets? Unless anyone can suggest anything completely left-field, cheap and easy to get hold of....Grin

Fairy lights
Hire a chocolate fountain
Big bowl of non alcoholic punch with fancy glasses
Ice cream, cones and toppings to DIY

Depending on how much you want to spend, you could get some giant garden games from amazon prime? They’ve got giant pass the pigs, limbo or Jenga for a reasonable price. They also have giant bubble kits.
Do you have a fire pit or bbq? You can do s’mores?
We did ‘minute to win it’ games for my dds 11th birthday and the kids all absolutely loved it, ping pong twerk and things like that you can buy supplies really cheaply - look on Pinterest for ideas.

Would a treasure hunt work, with clues?
