present ideas for 5 year boy

ds1 is turning 5 soon, and needing some inspiration for presents. Thinking of some starter lego, and adding to playmobil, but also wondered about some fairly cheap ideas for little things that could be s hit. he saw a stomp rocket at a friends recently and loved it so more things a bit like that... he loves pirates, knights, jigsaws, but I'm open to any suggestions...
