Expedia (flight & hotel) question pls

Just booked a flight & hotel via Expedia. Paid what I thought was the total package price. For the flight bit (Easyjet) I had to go to their website and choose seats, type of baggage etc. Travelling hand luggage only so it was just the pre-booking of seats, which cost £28 return and I'm happy with. Received confirmation from Easyjet and it states the £28 + another amount of £176 taken on debit card.

Would that amount be the cost of actual flight and just linked from the Expedia booking? But if so, why does Expedia confirmation say "flight and hotel" is £££ the amount I paid via debit card?

What am I missing here? Any suggestions welcome!

Hey, if I recall correctly, the hotel and flights I booked with Expedia back in February were charged separately on my payment card. One for flight, one for hotel. I also paid extra to reserve a seat with BA but I didn't do that until the actual holiday a few months later, but I don't recall that reservation showing + flight amount. Do your totals add up?

Thanks for that PearlHeart3 - I have a total from Expedia which shows a price of £££ less a discount giving final total for flight and hotel, which is why I was surprised to see the Easyjet invoice with an amount other than the seat choice (it's not referred to as a flight charge, just an amount taken from debit card). I've search everywhere for a number to contact Expedia but no joy yet.
