What sport and what monthly cost for your dcs sports activity once they reach squad/competition level?

I'm just curious, if you have a dc that does a sport at competition/squad level how much it costs you per month and what the sport is?

My dcs have loads of energy to burn and have always done various after school sports things. Over the years they've done tennis, trampolining, swimming, gymnassics, hockey, etc.

Dd (10) has finally found a sport she loves (skating) - at first it was one lesson a week but now she's officially part of the team suddenly we're having to take her to lessons 3x a week, spending a fortune on skates, competition fees, costumes, etc. It comes to over £100 on her hobby, more when competitions are happening. She also has swimming lessons at £8 a week (she was invited to join the swim team once she passed stage 7 but didn't want the early mornings)

Her friends do gymnastics which seems comparable price wise, other friends have dc who do triathlon which adds up to crazy money and makes us feel that she has a 'cheaper ' hobby.

I daren't even add it up.
DC 1 dances at a high level. I'd suggest this averages around £400 per month
Also does cricket and hockey
DC2 does athletics which is relatively cheap. Annual fees of £175 and then just kit and travel. Also does netball and cricket but relatively cheaply
DC3 cricket and tennis but not high level
DC4 gym, dance, cricket and swimming at approx £150 per month.
We spend a small fortune on extra-curriculars!

£400 a month Shock . Ouch!!! Although I can imagine our costs ramping up as she gets older...

Dc2 has recently decided to quit trampolining but is now asking for riding lessons
