Fixed front wheel pram anyone?

Does anyone have a pram with a fixed front wheel? If so do you find it a problem?

I have ordered a new pram to arrive tomorrow without realising the front is fixed. Is this going to be a problem. I urgently need the pram for this weekend but worried that I've made a mistake and might need to return.

Any experiences? TIA x

It’s a pain for turning, but I guess depends how often you’re using it? Is it just a cheap one you need for the weekend and will be selling/donating after, or are you going to be using it for the next couple of years? My bugaboo has front wheels that swivel, but large back wheels that are fixed. However, you can flip the handle so that the big ones fixed ones are at the front. It’s much easier going on the beach/ rough terrain with them like that, but for day to day trips in town I wouldn’t use it that way. It’s similar to steering a wonky shopping trolley- you need a lot of space to turn!

What pram is it OP? Others may have experience of the exact model.

Thanks @Thistles24

It was going to my long term pram so that's why I'm now worried. My current pram has the option and I can barely turn it when they're fixed.

Yes should have said it's the Out and About Sport!

Had a three wheeler with fixed front wheel and it was a nightmare, sorry!

I had one and hated it. Constantly having to tip it to manoeuvre it. Sorry.

I’d return it for a different one if I were you, OP. They’re just not practical for everyday use. Could you borrow one/get a gumtree cheap one to tide you over?

Unanimous then! Thank you for all if your replies! Quick dash to the shops in the morning it will have to be! Thanks again!!
