To wallpaper or not to wallpaper... that's the question

DS has always been obsessed with superheroes.

We're decorating his bedroom and he desperately wants superheroes on his wall.

We moved about eighteen months ago and just painted his walls a similar colour to his old room.

I would go with this pattern... www.gowallpaper.co.uk/arthouse-superhero-blue-wallpaper-696200.html

My Mum and sister are pushing us to go with plain and grey but I'm bored of plain colours.

I am however mindful we'll spend a couple of hundred getting it up for him to get bored of it.

So... do I or don't I wallpaper?

I probably wouldn’t as the superhero’s phase may not last long.

I’d probably go with bright colours and those stick on things you can buy.

I'd do plain walls and some posters or frames to hang. Then you can change as and when.

I’d do one wall with the wallpaper. Kids love a themed room, they’re only young for a short time so will grow out of it, do it he’ll love it.

I would go with a painted wall and posters / pictures or if you are lucky and know someone artistic get them to paint a life size pic of DSs favourite hero.
Or even DS as a hero
