Redhill, Surrey - parking advice please

I am due to spend several days/evenings at the Harlequin Theatre for one of DDs activities. I've tried Google but haven't come up with anything much. Streetview seems to show a massive one next door, but is that just for Sainsburys? If so I presume 2-3 hour restriction exists?

Where would be the best place to park for up to 9ish hours both into the evening on a Friday and at the weekend without costing an absolute fortune? I will also have to be carrying a lot of stuff, so would love to be very close to the Theatre.

Depends on time of day. After 6pm you can stay all evening in Sainsbury's (upstairs) free. You used to be able to do similar downstairs but I think pedestrian access in the later evening may be an issue. Otherwise Gloucester Road off the roundabout by the park is nearest longstay. Maybe you could park in Sainsburys for the free first hour to drop off dc and stuff, then park in Gloucester Road.

I shall have a look at the Gloucester Road one.

If you arrive after 5(as I've had to for shows) you can use a free hour ticket to cover you until 6pm. Gloucester Road used to be about £6.50 all day.

I might be able to do something similar on the Friday, but need to arrive earlier than that. Unfortunately I am chaperoning for a show so have to be there well before performance times, and can't leave once I'm there!
