Calling all vapours

I need some wisdom.

I have been smoking far too long and I feel like it is starting to affect my health. I have developed an awful smokers cough, I am really aware of the smell and it is just so expensive.

I have fried vaping before and never got on with it. All the faffing with the coils I could never get my head around and I was always running out of battery.
The kits I bought were expensive but cannot have been good as they used to hiss, pop and leak liquid into my mouth which is vile.

I like a dry hit and I like there to be a good amount of vape. Thats the key for me I reckon. I'm not a cloud chaser haha but I like to feel as though I am really exhaling. So the one types don't suit me.

I need peoples suggestions. What set up are you using and is it amazing ( and easy haha)
I want to order in time for the weekend.
The vape shop by me is rubbish so itll be online.

Thank you Smile

This is mine and it’s super easy too!

Endura t-20s made vaping an acceptable alternative to smoking for me. Easy, leaks relatively rarely, affordable, etc. But much better than the real entry level fake fags.

The throat hit is all down to the juice you use. Again discovering which one I like has made all the difference. That's worth going into a vaping shop for to try different ones but I now buy mine from onepoundliquid.

If I was out now, and I didn't have my e-cig with me, it wouldn't enter my head to have a fag. In fact the thought of it makes me recoil in horror. You just need to find the right juice and price of kit for you. Keep trying, the freedom from cigarettes is fantastic.

I'm using a Geek Vape Aegis with an athlon mini as my main set up and a Wisemec 3 also with an Athlon mini, both are what's known as sub ohm. I use 3 mg nic juices in them.

I also have a basic set up,an istick 30 with a nautilus mini, with 12mg nic juice for that throat hit.

I'm not sure what you mean by liking a dry hit as that is disgusting - it's when you've been ''chain vaping' and the coil/wick hasn't had time to absorb the juice in between puffs,so you get a burnt metallic taste and more than likely burn your coil out.

abitoflight · 27/06/2019 08:11

I couldn't get on with the faffing with coils, leaking, gurgling etc and tried about 3 different reputable brands so I got a vype with refilled disposable cartridges. Much pricier though than ones you can refill with juice yourself

Carrotcakeforbreakfast · 27/06/2019 08:12

I meant some of the vapes I've tried, have been very bubbly. I can't think of a better way to describe it.
I like it to be similar to smoking.

I know what you mean about the burnt coil taste too. I've had that before, and it is disgusting.

I'll go and have a look at some of the suggestions.

Bishalisha your link isn't showing.

I get what you mean OP - just vapour on the hit instead of wee dribbles/spits of juice. Because that’s not nice at all! If your vape is set up right then you shouldn’t get that, leaking generally means something is not connected right or needs changing. I have an Innokin Coolfire battery off Amazon, an Aspire BCV tank and get my liquids off One Pound E Liquid.

You could try one of those Juul things to start with - they’re meant to be very simple.

Bishalisha · 27/06/2019 08:59

Sorry didn’t add the pic. I only get bubbling and gurgling if I overfill the juice bit. No spitting.

The hit I think depends on the type of juice. I only get on with one brand becuase I don’t like the dry hit- I’m certain they said it was due to others containing salt nicotine? I use Ohm Bru which is quite smooth, so I think you’d get on better with a different one

The Uwell Caliburn is very good. Similar to the Juul but refillable pods which last about 3 weeks before needing changed.
The Aspire Breeze 2 and Nautilus AIO are ok as well, refillable and replaceable coils but a bit fiddly to fill.
All have decent battery life which should see you through the day but I always have a backup device if I'm going to be out for more than 8 hours.

Howmanysleepstilchristmas · 27/06/2019 09:32

Pockex kits have a similar amount of vape to the smoke in a cigarette, and coils used to last me weeks (4-12!). Easy to fill, and I’d get 30 hours between charges too. I can recommend an online retailer if you need it to avoid fakes too (steer clear of eBay!)

Carrotcakeforbreakfast · 27/06/2019 13:44

Thank you. Off shopping online now. After this weekend I refuse to buy anymore cigarettes
Enough is enough.

I quit 7 months ago using a Smok pen 22 It's important for me that it's easy to use as I can only use one hand due to Cerebral Palsy
This is so easy to fit coils and fill. You literally pour juice into the whole tank around coil and fit mouthpiece and go
Good battery life, and the best decision I've ever made.. I smoked for 25 yearsBlush
