Am a nervous wreck!

Dd17 is at a job interview right now and I'm waiting for a phone call from her saying she's out and I can go pick her up.

I've bitten all my nails and cant concentrate on my housework (anybody would think it was my interview 🤦🏻‍♀️) I've had 4 cups of tea in almost 3 hours!

She desperately desperately.. wants this job, it would be perfect for her and I'm keeping everything crossed. She's had 12 job interviews this year with no success and I think if she doesn't get this one it will completely knock her confidence ☹️

How did she get on? :)

It turned out to be a group assessment which she wasn't happy about Confused she'd been to one on Monday at a different company and she hated it. Today she said was better but she was up against more experienced girls that are already in that field of work ( make up artist) and she feels like she doesn't stand a chance Sad

Random thought at stupid o'clock, but could she do some you tube videos? Make up for older ladies or how to get eyeliner perfect?

Could she get some business cards done and get some work doing make up for weddings?

Is it a trainee apprenticeship that she's applying for? Is she already enrolled at college? Many, many moons ago when I went into hairdressing I wrote letters to all the local salon businesses to enquire if they wanted an apprentice and sold myself a bit. It did result in an interview/job for me. Most salons prefer to train their own staff vs college placements though most will go down their own college day release routes. Does she have a portfolio that she could email to prospect employers vs attending interviews where 2nd/3rd year, newly qualified technicians are also applying? Just a thought.
