What is your view on queue jumping?

Just that really, it happened to me today and I was wondering how other people deal with it, ignore or confront?

We were on holiday recently and a German lady blatantly did this to dh.She got told "the back of the queue is that way love" She retreated.

I often let people go in front of me but if anyone tries to push in front of me I will tell them politely that there is a queue. If they choose to ignore me then I will be cutting in my next comment to embarrass or humiliate them. If they apologise and come up with some Lausanne reason as to why they must be served before me, such as

“I’ve left my Unicorn in the car and I’ve popped in to pick up his glitter tablets....”

then I might let them proceed depending on my mood.
