Anyone else, I wasn't allowed to be vaccinated either? I hasten to add I have now

Doctors didn't allow me to be vaccinated due to severe (almost fatal) reaction to the oral polio vaccine. I've had none others, and I'm perfectly fit and healthy, in my 40s.
I think that article reads like a novel rather than a factual account.
