Just wanted to share my awkward moment that happened at work today.. and also if anybody thinks if I have gone too far..
So I am a manager to three staff members we are in a small office of 8. HR manager is friends with someone in the office and they like to have a good goss..
Yesterday hr managercame in slagging off a staff member and just being genrally bitchy toward them behind their back.. my team member is friends with said person who was being bitched about and was fuming to say the least and wanted to escalate herself... this is the second time she has badmouthed someone that we are close to. Two of my team members and another not on my team have commented on her behaviour given her position...So I requested a meeting with the hr director ( her manager) about our concerns and lack of professionalism.. He has been on holiday and sent the hr manager as he is a bit behind. The one who we wanted to raise concerns about!!! So I just told it to her straight and said that we were not happy with her airing her personal opinions about other employees given her position.. it didn't go down well!
