Tankini for tween?

changeitis · 25/06/2019 18:36

Anyone seen good tankini's for young girls? Age 12 and growing but not enough for women's size 6 bra tops.

I'm after a properly lined top, relatively plain - not frilly! Good coverage knickers. Definitely doesn't want a bikini.

All I seem to find is sexy / frilly / unicorn costumes.

Any shop suggestions?

Try Speedo for quality. Next?

Maybe she can fit on the smallest size for Roxy www.roxyaustralia.com.au/swim/womens/bikinis

(Next meaning the shop!!!)

My dd, 12, requested a bikini this year and the Speedo ones were lovely, not too grown up, although we ended up going for Next in the end - the top is almost like a tankini. It's navy with floral print and the knickers aren't too brief.

Debenhams is the place to look, especially online. They sell loads of Lands End ones.

This one is sold out in age 12 but they still have age 13 www.johnlewis.com/john-lewis-partners-girls'-ombre-tankini-turquoise/p3983246

You super crew you

Thank you for the help.

Debenhams wins. I went for this one. I realise it has a frill but it's the perfect
type to cover up growing boobs.

Fingers crossed she likes it.

It looks lovey, changeitis! I too hope she likes it, you can never tell what children will like to wear at her age.
