You can join Which? For £1 for a month online. They have a great search function, where you can enter your requirements and it'll find you what you are looking for.

Is she already familiar with how to use Windows? If not (or only older versions) I'd go for something like a Chromebook.

Unfortunately you'll pay more for something with a bigger screen.

For what she wants to do, I second the chromebook (which I'm using now as it happens).

Does it have to be a laptop? I watch Netflix on my kindle fire and that cost me £30

I dont think that would be big enough for her

Chrome book.

They're pretty cheap, aren't subject to the crap you get with windows (updates, running out of memory, viruses) and you can get the Netflix app.

Mine cost under 200 and its still perfect after a year of hard use.

Fire stick for YouTube and Netflix

That would be too complicated for her. She asked me the the other day if she could put her Prison Break dvd into it! She is starting to like my Ipad so maybe i can show her the Chromebook.

We just set MIL up with a Chromebook and she loves it. I'm now thinking of getting one when my Windows laptop dies.
