No more than 70cm wide - can anyone help? Thanks!

Not specifically for children, but this one from the Futon Company is quite nice, and exactly 70cm wide:

The IKEA Micke is only 50cm wide.

When I was looking the narrowest I found was 80cm and fold able.

ourmamageddon · 25/06/2019 13:36

That's really nice @UselessTrees, thanks!

DD uses the Ikea Brimnes dressing tabe as a desk. It's exactly 70cm wide.

Yours is good too @notatwork

Oh, wait. Did you length rather than the width?

Sorry!

notatwork · 25/06/2019 13:41

The Bin other colours so you don't have to have white.

notatwork · 25/06/2019 13:42

..Brimnes comes in other colours....

ourmamageddon · 25/06/2019 13:44

@BlackCatSleeping I did mean width but your thinking of depth! So as in 70cm from left to right if your sitting at it.

70cm is hard to find! Lots available if you had 80cm to spare.
One so far at 66cm: leaning

metal and pine
my DC would tear this down
basic but colour choice

That's all I can find. Good luck!

If it's only the 'table top' section you need, could you DIY it by attaching a piece of MDF to the wall with brackets and painting it? Most large DIY stores will cut timber to your required size. It's what we did for DS's small bedroom and looked fine. His bedroom was quite minimalist so it fitted in rather well.

We have one from habitat - not labelled children but I don’t see why it needs to be as a desk

theneverendinglaundry · 25/06/2019 15:59

My son has the Futon Company one, and my daughter had the IKEA Micke one! Both are good, the micke has a bigger drawer.

Futon Company charge a FORTUNE for delivery.
