Soooo....In the aisle of wonder, from this Thursday, there will be assorted small kitchen appliances. Including a doughnut maker.

I suspect I want one, because I've posted about it Hmm Grin.

Do you reckon I'll use it...or will it join my ice cream maker, hand whisk, and juicer in watching my mixer being used but not actually being used itself??

We have one from Lidl and use it all the time. Is it the one with the interchangeable waffle plates? Traditional Sunday morning breakfast in our house.

Oooh, no, it doesn't have interchangeable plates. I wonder if I ought to wait and see if they do that one any time soon 🤔🤔 The girls like waffles for breakfast!

Oo, I’m tempted. How much is said contraption and what other kitchen appliances are up for grabs?

Bluetrews25 · 24/06/2019 19:34

I was given a Breville one, made several tiny ring donuts.
Only used it a couple of times. took up quite a lot of space, it was not easy to clean, and there were issues with sticking, too. And the end product was not that great.

@mintbiscuit (how handy is it that the @ thing now does the nn for us!?). I quite fancy the candyfloss maker too but suspect that would only be used once or twice.

@Bluetrews25 that's not good. Doughnuts are a faff to make though & we do them quite often (baked and then jam syringed into the middles, yum!)
