Flying ant day

I think it is a bit early, but the front of my house is literally crawling today. Anyone else experiencing the horror? I have a nasty feeling this won't be the end of them for me just yet, loads of regular ants in addition to the winged ones.

I found loads crawling up the side of our lean to this morning obviously trying to find a way in, which happens every year despite using sealant like a mad thing, using ant traps and I sprinkled flour this morning as they dont like crossing it, but I know when I walk in later they will be everywhere inside the lean to. They make me itch incessantly at the thought of them. Arrrggghhhhhhhh!!

No but you have my sympathies. Our last house had them. It had a huge lounge window and youd wake up in the morning and itd be moving with them 🤮 cant actually remember how we got rid. I think we had floorboards when we moved in and putting down a carpet helped certainly.
