Gmail help please?!

I had a notification through to my gmail to say I needed to clear space otherwise I wouldn't be able to receive emails. I didn't get around to this and then emails stopped coming through last week. I went and deleted approx 2000 emails (including then going to trash and removing permanently) but I'm still not getting any emails through. Does anyone know how to resolve this please? I desperately need emails to come through!

Only suggestion I have is are you deleting from your actual gmail account? Deleting from Outlook, say, might not work the same way

Maybe sync again?

Have you checked to see how much memory you are currently using?

Storage will be spread across your google account so you'll need to check your google photos etc.

You need to empty spam, sent , and all mail. You'll find the categories in the menu on the left hand side.

Update: I've decided to change my plan and buy more space and will go back to the free plan when I have time to go through my 1000s of photos. However, emails still not coming through! Will wait and see if they come through in the morning.

I had an issue with my email not updating and for some reason auto sync had turned off, go to settings and your account to check it is on.
