Hi, I'm hoping to boost my weight loss and do some major toning post baby arrival and was thinking about the 30day shred...? After people's opinions of it and maybe any alternatives? Need to be wary of the pelvic floor...!!

I did it, I took before and after photos in just underwear, I noticed a big difference in how my body looked after the full 30 days. I coupled it with cutting out sweets, chocolate, cakes and biscuits, so I think that massively helped. It does get a bit boring. You do ten days of the same, followed by ten days of the second workout, then a final ten days for the third workout. By day five of each, I was so bored. I kept a countdown chart on my fridge and crossed off each day I did, that helped motivate me a bit. I’m considering doing it again soon, as I am terrible and basically lose and gain the same stone each year.

Thank you!! Did you complete each full circuit? I'm a bit out of puff and worried I'll really struggle but guess it must be worth a go! And did you do the dvd or manage to get it on YouTube? X

It’s been a couple of years since I did it, but I did just about manage to complete it all, I think I modified quite a lot of the moves at some point or another.

I did it on YouTube, but I remember it was a real struggle finding one of the parts - part three if I remember correctly, though I could be wrong. Eventually found a really poor quality vid I think!

Keep going with it, it is definitely worth it!

I'm doing it now if you want to be shared buddies? Same reason as you: toning up post-baby plus I'm on my own so I needed something I could do in the evenings once baby is in bed (I also swim when I can during my lunch break). I bought it on Amazon prime, cost a fiver or so, and you can stream it directly so no need to wait for a DVD to arrive.

I just moved up to level 2 yesterday. You definitely notice it getting easier as the days go on but starting a level is TOUGH! Just giving baby her last feed now so it's nearly shred time and I am dreading it but it'll be worth it Smile

I did it a few years ago on YouTube and was thrilled with the results. It made me hungry though. Anyone know if it's safe/advisable post c section? Baby is 5 months.

I loved it. It totally changed my body shape, which dieting alone didn't do. I have her app now, which I use almost daily.

She gives you options, so if you're feeling tired, you can ease up, or if you're feeling strong, you can increase the intensity. Because it's only 20 mins, you can convince yourself to keep going. I would check with your GP about pelvic floor issues mind. You may have to skip / adapt certain exercises.

Brilliant dvd workout, I also had the beginners 30 day shred which was great when my fitness was at an all time low!
