Holiday help

Morning all, quite possibly asking for the impossible but we've not been on a holiday for so many years we're clueless! Wondering about a last minute holiday for a family of four (baby and pre-school age), somewhere accessible from NE England, warm and - crucially - not too expensive.

Is there a particular destination or website we should look at to see what's out there? Don't really mind where we go.

Thank you!

Try on the beach or jet 2.

Well Turkey and Egypt are super cheap at the mo and loads of people still go there. I wouldn’t but 🤷🏻‍♀️
On the beach
Holiday pirates
Jet 2 holidays
Teletext (on line but still that name)
Broadway Travel

Canary Islands are fab and easy
Greece and Greek islands are cheap when there and so beautiful
Malta is sunny and friendly but quite stark looking sometimes
Portugal

TUI
Menorca is great for that age

We used On The Beach for our last holiday. If you aren't tied to the school holidays you should be able to find a reasonably priced holiday.

We went to Spain in the Easter break and it was just over 1k for 4 of us (school hols too!).

Yes, look in the deals section of Jet2holidays. You can select your departure airport, party size, type of accomodation (SC, AI etc) and dates and see what comes up.

Great for when you don't really know what you want apart from 'a holiday'.

Hopping on to your thread for ideas.
I'm going round and round in circles trying to decide on something.

I have limited airports, maybe that's a good thing. Jet2 etc don't have any near me!
Op where can you fly from, what dates are you thinking of.

Oops sorry you said NE, I'm Sw

Tons of cheap flights still from Ryan air if they fly near you - see what they have ... then look for a family friendly hotel there. Alternatively yesterday Brittany ferries were offering 25% off crossings, Normandy and Brittany are great for kids and just chuck everything in the car rather than struggling onto a plane
