WWYD - party food

Got my daughters birthday party coming up 2 of the guests have dietary requirements. (1 coeliac and one vegan). I’ve got the main party food sorted after being really careful about the ingredients, but now I’m struggling with the “treat” section! In the past I’ve done Swiss rolls, jam tarts, selection of biscutes etc, but I don’t want multiple platters and then I get confused about who can have what! WWYD for a treat selection?

You can get some really good vegan cream now, so maybe scrap the idea of a selection of treats and go for old school jelly and ice cream?

My daughter was gluten free for 6 months and for treats, just had Gf biscuit bars or GF cake bars but wasn’t that keen.
The Kallo Choc Orange rice cakes are really nice.

Then after testing if she was celiac, and deciding she wasn’t, she went vegan.
Now she eats really healthy stuff and treats for her are still not that bad. You can make easy vegan truffles or brownies and you can get a few types of normal crisps which happen to be vegan. You maybe check if she is allergic to dairy or just vegan through choice. If it’s the latter, she prob won’t mind if the ingredients are vegan but made in a factory which isn’t.
You prob know this but for the celiac child, nothing can be on the same plate or even touch crumbs / serving equipment etc or they will be really ill.

You could make some chocolate covered honeycomb which is vegan and gluten free. I use Nigellas hokey pokey recipe and find it works well.

I put it into the freezer to set, break up and then cover in plain chocolate, also could add some strawberries dipped in chocolate too. Just double check the ingredients on whatever you're using, I also echo pp on finding out severity of the gluten allergy.

Many thanks everyone - think I’m going to stick to nice and easy jelly and ice cream!!!

Found some suitable for vegans and no issues there with coeliac!
