Copper coil, really bad cramping!

I had the coil fitted in October, apart from mega pain the day after it’s been fine, although periods heavier!

Last month my period was only 3 days instead of 7. It’s now been 7 weeks since period (normally 5-6 weeks) and Iv been majorly cramping today. Like deep down when you are on your period. But nothing! Iv taken a test and it’s negative. It hurts 😩

If anything there’s A lot of discharge where as normally there’s noting before totm 🙈

Go back to the docs for this. It could have shifted or something, or there could be another issue like PCOS that is messing with your cycle.

I had pain and a bit of bleeding with the coil - turns out mine had been dislodged and was stuck in the edge of my uterus. However, it took ages to be diagnosed because no one could identify the cause. Had a scan eventually where it was quite clear that was the issue.

Dr tugged it out.
Ouch.

It feels like when I’m ovulating, just really crampy. Like I’m about to start my period but it’s nowhere to be found 😩

Think I’m going to go doctors 😩
