Oh Eamonn go home and be with Ruth

Watching This Morning (I know, i know but I am about to start the ironing pile).
Ruth's sister died yesterday and he's clearly struggling. I don't understand why they didn't replace him as well for the day.

I would want DH with me in those circumstances too.

He couldn't get through reading her Twitter post, and it must be the last place he wants to be discussing make up tips etc...

His heart isn't in this at all.

If you listen, Eamon just said it happened a week ago but Ruth only put the news on social media yesterday. So Eamon felt he needed to get back to work today and Ruth agreed with him.

I switched over.

I guess if she's ok then that's fine but he does seem to be struggling and it's not particularly important work-one day on This Morning. Rylan would have been fine on his own.

He said he wants to be there. Her sister died a week ago.
