Bride Speech 2nd marriage

Has any other brides done a speech at their wedding?
It's my 2nd (hopefully last) marriage and I just want to maybe say a few words, obviously about new DH but also about my Daughters too.

Did you do a speech and we're glad you did? Also did you tell your OH air was it a surprise?

I did a toast to those who were not present in person but were in our hearts (my DF died less than 9 months before the wedding)

Yep, all my friends were there, I wanted to thank them as well as ramble on a bit. Brother did FOB speech (both parents dead). DH did a speech. No best men speech as his sons were best men and too teenage to do it,!

It felt right and fitted in with an informal day.
