Hello,
I want to get a gift for my pregnant sister-in-law but wanted some ideas of what would be best? Confused
Would be nice to hear from mums, dads about what they find useful but I don't mind suggestions from family or friends as well. Wink
TIA

For the baby or for the mum?
Someone made me a lovely hamper with scented candles, bath bombs, bubble bath and nice body lotions and some chocolates which was lovely lovely after the birth to have a nice pamper evening!

Pre or post birth presents?

For the mum a new dark coloured fleece dressing gown. Washes easily, dries quickly and nice to have more than 1 for when baby is sick all over you.

Pre-birth - nice top / dress which fits a pregnancy shape or voucher for one

Post birth - a small hamper with useful pampering stuff in (ie stuff you like but don’t treat yourself to) like nice moisturiser or shower gel. And if you’re close, I’d be doing a small care package with tea tree oil in, pads (Breast and PP), nice pjs and a water bottle.

I wouldn’t have appreciated the above gifts. Id have been grateful obviously but I wouldn’t have used them.
I would have wanted your time. To have gotten me out of the house and taken me and the baby for a coffee.

Ahhhhh thank you everyone for your advice. I was unsure whether to get her something or for the baby as most hampers are filled with baby items. Good question HUZZAH212 about pre or post.

Faster, that is very true, some people might just appreciate time. Thank you :)
