I think for winnings of that magnitude, I'd expect a good thankyou at least e.g. bunch of flowers, slap up meal, case of bubbles etc.

No, i wouldn't expect anything. It was given to them, knowing full well they might win. Why would i expect any of it back?

Although i bought the kids a scratch card once and before we scratched, we discussed what would happen if there was a winner and we agreed to split any winnings equally.

My dad always gets us the £10 ones for Christmas. I won £20 and DH won £100. I think my brother won something too. None of us shared Grin.
