What can I do today

I have a day off after a couple of really tricky months just go relax and recharge. Kids are at school, dh is available.

I am slightly under the weather (migraine yesterday, sinuses a bit ropey) but certainly not ill.

We are skint and have also eaten out/takeaways loads recently so have food fatigue. Nothing I fancy at the cinema (maybe rocket man but not especially and dh doesn't fancy it).

Need to drop off and pick up kids so have about a 6 hour window.

So far on my list I have going for a run and possibly sex. Any other ideas?

Are you near the coast? A walk along the beach with a picnic?

bigchris · 20/06/2019 07:20

I'd go for a run, have a shower, snuggle up in bed with dh and movies for the rest of the day

Do you feel the need to micromanage every minute of your life?

Gamorasgran · 20/06/2019 07:26

Ssd, really appreciate that kind and helpful comment. Thanks.

I only went along with dh to see Rocketman to keep him company but I LOVED it and we've seen it twice. Give it a go Smile

If the weather is good where you are I'd go for a picnic in a park then a very long stroll round town followed by tea and cake in a nice cafe.

I hope you have a lovely day.

Do nothing other than lie on the sofa and read, listen to music or watch rubbish T.V Sometimes you have to let your body rest and as you had a migraine yesterday your body is screaming at you to slow down. We dont and shouldnt be on the go constantly

If you haven't seen Chernobyl, watch that? You can get a free trial on Now TV if you haven't already got it.

Awwww thanks all. We have decided to go for coffee and a walk in the woods then a lazy afternoon. Dh may even get me cake.

Seaside on the weekend to blow the cobwebs out.

That was nasty, SSD.

Long walks picking wild flowers is one of my favourite pastimes, OP...also the wild cherries are just becoming ripe right now so perhaps go for a walk and see how much fruit you can find? Then make them into pudding later :)
