iPhone knows my height and weight!

I never fully use all the guff that is in the phone but I noticed just now I could set up a medical alert.

I thought I would fill it in as I could be useful if I was ever in an accident.

It already had my height and weight on there! I’ve never looked at this on my phone before and only recently discovered it records my daily steps and distance in km.

How can it possibly know my height and weight?

You'll have put it into another app at some point.

Do you use any other health/ fitness/ weight loss apps?

I’ve never used a fitness or health app on any device and never logged my weight or height either. I don’t use apps other than instagram, google photos, Facebook, messenger and my bank.

I don’t have a smart scale. I have an old manual scale that probably comes out once a year after Christmas!

Have you ever used an online BMI calculator? Eg the NHS one?
