It keeps falling off when its sunny. Any advice?

Mine does this, I moved it to a different position (from beneath rear view mirror to slightly more left). So far it hasn’t been sunny enough to test it

Watching...
My front one is ok. My rear one was ok for ages and now won't stay stuck. I've tried regular sticky tape, double sided sticky tape, a combination of double sided plus regular sticky tape and am now on horrible brown masking/packing tape. Looking for a more permanent solution but that won't mark the black plastic.

At least its not just me. So annoying though. Ill try a new position tomorrow.

It's because the heat shining onto the windscreen expands the little bit of air still in the suction cup, so it loses suction. If you put it on in the evening when everything is cooler then it'll tend to happen whenever you park facing the sun.
You could try sticking it back on while the sun is still on it. Or park pointing the other way. Or just resign yourself to sticking it back on regularly.

Can I jump in whilst there are some dash cam owners in one place please?
I'm looking to buy a dash cam! Last month a lorry wrote off my car (no one injured apart from the car) and they are claiming it wasn't them. Won't let that happen again... Would you recommend the ones you have?

Mine seemed to lose its suction so cleaned the windscreen and sucker with an alcohol wipe and it seems to have shifted any grease and it's much better now.
I was about to buy a new sucker.

@RolandOnTheRopes I'm the same. I got mine because someone 'hit and run' in an M&S car park (of all places!) It's both a front and rear and although it beeps reassuringly when you start the engine, thankfully I've never had to download the footage. I'll check my Amazon purchase history for the make/model. I've yet to wire it into the car's electric board - incase of bumps when it's stationary - but its on my 'to do' list.
Don't be scared to lift the plastic moulding around your doorframes etc to hide the wire. It really is easy. (YouTube is your friend).

Jam try using command stickers - they really do work.
