Why are these people parking here?

I live up a private road on an old estate of maybe 30 or so houses. The road also cuts through a golf course.

For the last few weeks there has been a work van parked on one of the verges. During the day the van goes away and is replaced by one or two cars. This is definitely what happens as i saw two men doing the swap today. The verge it is parked on is not near any of the houses.

It can be awkward having vehicles parked there sometimes as there can be a bit of a bottle neck at that part of the road especially if vans/tractors/ large vehicles are trying to pass.

The van has AirB&B branding on the side so assume the people are servicing holiday rentals. But why are they parking there? I don't think i can do anything about it, i am just baffled by it.

Let the tyres down and crap on the bonnet.

Probably aren't allowed a van outside their house, some new build estates have these - - pretentious-- rules.

It is such an odd place to leave their cars and a van. It will have been noted by many. People will not be happy!

Chip in with the neighbours to get a sign - Private property no parking.
Leave notes on the windscreen kindly telling to fuck off, it's private property.
Contact the company on the van and tell them that their driver is parking on private property and to stop.

Maybe a group of doggers all in the back of the van?

Tbh soola the birds will be doing a great job of crapping all over their vehicles seeing as the are parked next to massive hedges.

There a re 3 signs at the bottom of the road saying it is a private road!

I didn't stop and ask them earlier as i was on my way to an appointment. If i see them again i will ask.
