I feel like giving up on my Mooncup

I just can't get it to work, it leaks all the time which is really quite at odds with the whole point of it - my laundry shoots up around my period.

Has anyone had a eureka moment? I do feel like sometimes it works better than others, but I cannot find the common denominator.

In officepolitic's name I tried the tulip fold after watching some YT videos... I'm off to lunch, wish me luck.

I tried a mooncup and gave up after about 6 months - it leaked like a bastard! It also gave me twinges of pain just like the ones I get with a UTI. Swapped to a diva cup and it is much better. Does leak occasionally but much less. Have to empty it every 2 hours or so in the first two days but after that, its a doddle - no leaks and only needs emptying about twice a day. Good luck with a different style!
