Trade/ vocation courses? Ideas?

I couldn’t think of a better title. I was hoping to get the help of the Mumsnet collective. I need a new career. I want to do something useful with my life, but can’t afford to go back to university. I’m trying to find out what’s out there.. can we make a list?

Things I’ve discovered:

Massage courses to become a therapist
Beauty/ nail courses
Personal trainer courses
Ministry of upholstery courses
Pottery courses
Curtain/ blind making
Furniture making

What else? I feel like I’m a jack of all trades and I want to find something that’s 'me'. There’s nothing that shouts to me. I really want to either 'be my own biss' or do something that I can do on the side of other work.

What else is out there? Help!

I like the idea of somebody commissioning a service - contacting me to do/ make something. Or contacting me because I offer a service. (I don’t fancy making, then trying to sell.). So, for example, I would rather avoid doing something with people (beauty/ massage etc).

I like people, but have done face to face stuff for so long, now I want a change. A bit like you contact a plumber and they come and get on with the job.
