Just that really. My veg are not growing - my flowers are struggling - what has happened to our summer?

Yes very. Booking another holiday to cheer myself up!

Absolutely. DH is in Berlin at the moment, he called earlier and I had to ask him to wait a moment as I was in the middle of putting a jumper on. He was a bit Hmm as apparently it's really hot there.

It was gorgeous here today and it's muggy now but it has been changeable recently - the weeds are growing really well! Blush

Me. Soaked every day. Angry

Me. Much as I hate it being too hot, this is getting ridiculous now. Global warming my arse.

imsuchagrump · 18/06/2019 22:23

God yeah it's getting ridiculous now , coats on every day getting soaked . I can't peg any washing out and not being able to sit in the sun . It's actually getting me down .
I'm praying for a bit of sun .

I managed to get two loads of washing dry today, grass cut and some other bits done in the garden. It started raining about five o’clock and is still drizzling.
The veg is behind, flowers are much later too, plus they got a real bashing last week with the rain.
It’s showing more rain overnight and in the morning too, I’m fed up! I want some bright days, we’ve had so much grey wet weather, still had the stove lit last week Shock

Me, I hate it so much. For me it's the fact that I cycle everywhere and I despise having to use and pay for public transport.

So as well as not getting my daily quota of feel good chemicals, I'm spending money I don't want to. I know lots of people still cycle in the rain but I find it dangerous, plus I still like to do my hair, wear a little makeup and don't want to be somewhere for hours with smudged mascara and damp clothes.
