Getting a new tattoo a month before holiday

Will new tattoo be ok in the pool and sun

Assuming this is your first one I'd leave it til after your holiday.

Secondary scabbing can take a long time to heal and having the tattoo in water a lot might make it look patchy. Also, sun fades tattoos especially when new so you'll have to religiously remember to put factor 50 on or cover up all the time.

No - it’s generally 6 weeks between a tattoo and using the pool and sunscreen isn’t great for a healing tattoo.

6 weeks absolute minimum but you need to be led by your own body’s healing process so it may be longer.

No, you have to use a waterproof wound dressing, and also keep it covered to protect from the sun.

Get it when you’re back, you need at LEAST 6 weeks for it to heal fully.

Finger can really hurt dependent on where you have it. Just above the nail was extremely uncomfortable for me, and I've had countless tattoos.
