Off to tenerife beginning of aug want to get a tattoo beginning of july
Will new tattoo be ok in the pool and sun

Secondary scabbing can take a long time to heal and having the tattoo in water a lot might make it look patchy. Also, sun fades tattoos especially when new so you'll have to religiously remember to put factor 50 on or cover up all the time.

Get it when you’re back, you need at LEAST 6 weeks for it to heal fully.

I mean if you want your tattoo to look awful after holidaying in the sun and sea, go for it.

Was thinking hand or finger or outer wrist on other side to other wrist tattoo

Finger can really hurt dependent on where you have it. Just above the nail was extremely uncomfortable for me, and I've had countless tattoos.
