Toddler self weaning?

Think my 21 month old is ready to self wean as I'm pregnant with my 3rd and the colostrum has kicked in. Last night he was content when he woke with just cuddles but then came 3 am and he was getting very frustrated with the boob. Any tips?

Just remove from boob and say no. That’s what I did. I also moved him into his own room as we were co-sleeping at the time, should be easier if you’re not doing that!

Honestly he’ll get over it.

How long did it take? Hes in his own room but sometimes will co sleep when not well or having a rough night but dosent boob just settles himself with cuddles.

Have recently weaned my 19 month old. I'm also pregnant and she was getting cross with it. Honestly, it was relatively painless and only took about 4 days- she only fed 1/2 times s day though.
Tips-
Wear tops which aren't very accessible
Be consistent, I just kept saying 'milk is finished' whenever she tried and offered a drink.
Don't do it when they're unwell/ sniffly

The lovely thing is that she will still co-sleep and snuggle beautifully which I was so worried we would lose.
