Edinburgh Gin

Sorry couldn't find an alcohol topic to post in!

I was out last week in a Wetherspoons style bar and a friend was drinking a rhubarb and ginger gin with tonic.

i had a taste and really liked it. She said it was edinburgh gin.

Anyway id like to buy a bottle. When looking in the supermarket they have edinburgh gin rhubarb and ginger liqueur.

will this be it? isnt a liqueur different?

i dont want to buy the wrong thing. can anyone help?

Yes the Edinburgh one is a liqueur. The Whitley Neil one is a spirit, not a liqueur.

Yes. That's the one, it's a liquer and if you haven't tried it yet with prosecco then you must. It's delicious.

Edinburgh gin is normally about 20% - the raspberry is good too - neat with ice is best I find.

My husband assures me that asda sell it. And I know Morrisons sell the ordinary Edinburgh Gin which is gorgeous.

If you live near a Lidl, they do a very good Rhubard and Ginger Gin Liqueur which is just as palatable. Perfect with lemonade or ginger beer
