Hi for the past 2 week my breathing has become difficult like I can't take a deep breath it's got so bad the back of my left shoulder hurts from where I'm straining to get a deep breath
Its happened lots of times in the past but never for this long I've made an appointment for doctors but it's not till 22nd of July
Its really starting to affect my daily life as it brings on dizziness

Do you have asthma? 22nd July is a
a very long time away, can you ring one morning for an emergency appointment?

limitedscreentime · 17/06/2019 14:30

Go to a&e, or at least phone 111 if you can't get an earlier appointment

Strongly suggest doctors trip. It could be nothing - muscle strain probably!

managedmis · 17/06/2019 14:36

I've had this, it was stress

managedmis · 17/06/2019 14:37

I couldn't take a full deep breath, it felt like I was being stabbed in the shoulder. Really painful. Sneezing was horrendous

BettysLeftTentacle · 17/06/2019 14:38

It could be a number of really dangerous things or it could be a number of non-dangerous things. Either way you have chest pain and need an an emergency same day appointment with your GP or go to A&E.

QuestionableMouse · 17/06/2019 14:39

Sounds more like and infection of some kind. You need to been seen sooner rather than later.

LikeSilentRaindrops · 17/06/2019 14:40

As managedmis said, I had this with stress. A private visit to an osteopath helped loosen up the muscles that had tensed as a reaction. Might be worth trying, or a sports massage?

Godgivemestrengh · 17/06/2019 14:56

Thankyou for the replies I have been wondering if it was stress
I'll ring doctors first thing in the morning for and emergency appointment

Ring 111 and get seen today. Breathing problems and chest pain are nothing to fuck about with.

willowstar · 17/06/2019 15:03

I get this when very very stressed sometimes.

HollowTalk · 17/06/2019 15:05

22nd July!!!

Godgivemestrengh · 17/06/2019 15:11

Yes 22nd July shocking isn't it I mentioned it was to do with my breathing and she just said ring in morning for emergency appointment I didn't want to go to a&e as I've lived with this for 2 weeks now so thought one more night won't hurt
