Why is my gammon orange?

I've had a joint of gammon in the slow cooker since tea time yesterday, I've just taken it out and as you can see, it's turned a weird orangey sort of colour some of it is the normal pink as demonstrated by the pieces on the left, but most of it is this orangey-pinky colour! What the hell?! (It's more orangey in real life)

Is it smoked gammon? As mine does that too

That is actually really weird as my name is Melanie

Just an update, we ate it yesterday/Monday and nobody has been ill or died It just wasn't as tasty as ham usually is.
