D&V, sore legs?

Been up most of the night with d&v (thanks baby daughter!). Those symptoms seem to be subsiding, but I have really sore lower back and legs. If I get up and move around i feel sick cos I'm dizzy (always happens like thos after sickness) but I'm in agony lying in bed and need to sleep but can't. Any ideas?

I had this recently (on holiday unfortunately!) and I found paracetamol and plenty of water helped the aching. Get well soon!

Thanks flatwhite I'm not sure if I'd keep paracetamol down yet...

Achy legs might be due to electrolyte imbalance, probably caused by loss of fluids (dehydration) through d&v.

Do you think you could be dehydrated?

If so, I'd start by trying to replace all the fluids you're losing from the bug. Pharmacy might sell rehydration drinks formulated to rebalance electrolytes. Otherwise, a sports drink might help.

Cup of tea and breakfast if you can manage it!
