Ikea mattress

Does anyone have an Ikea mattress and would they recommend? We desperately need a new one but cant afford to be spending a lot on one. The Ikea mattress seem like a good option but I'm not sure what one to go with. It would need to be fairly firm. There's a few around the £100 mark but they only vary in price about £20 odd so i dont know where to go for the cheaper one or would that £20 extra make more of a difference?

We have one, it’s a King was about £400. It’s great. Very comfy, although a little firmer than i prefer.

I’ve heard good things about the cheaper ones to be honest - they all have a ten year guarantee; we called them out because ours was sagging at the edges after less than six months. Turns out the inner topper had folded in on itself so easy to rectify, but they would have replaced if not.

We have 2 x Hovag single mattresses on our super king Ikea bed, and a new king size Hovag in the spare room. Fabulously comfortable. Ikea mattresses now have 25yr guarantee.

Our original mattresses from Ikea were 18yrs old when we replaced them. They had been a little saggy so we put a fat topper on top and were fine for a year or so until we moved house and splashed out again.

Go in store and try them all out. Seriously they are worth every penny

That's great to hear. Its not easy for us to get to an Ikea but might have to make the effort soon!

You get a 90 day no kibble exchange , so if you don't like it you won't be stuck with it. I've got the hovag and it's really comfy

We've got an ikea double foam memory mattress, its really firm and really comfortable though only had it about 6 weeks. We've also got an ikea bed that lifts up from the end, its amazing because we've managed to keep the lifting part secret from the kids, giving us a new place to store presents!
