Where can I buy a comfortable bra for large (size F) breasts?

Does anyone have any advice 😫

Really struggling to find a decent bra that’s actually comfortable. Doesn’t help most shops don’t get above a size D.

The M&S Flexifit is pure bliss, i can wear it all day, the only bra in 40 years i have ever been able to do that with

Bravissimo are great

MIdgebabe · 15/06/2019 08:10

I always do, despite getting fitted. I suspect that different things suit different people, hence offering an alternative.

Bravissimo but pricey, I'm an E and actually find Matalan do some nice fitting bigger bras that are more affordable.

Hithere12 · 15/06/2019 09:20

Oh bless. An f cup isn't big

Haha are you serious? It is if you’re not overweight and a size 12.

Thanks for your advice everyone, I’m only looking for ones they sell in stores so I can try on.

Honestly OP no as ever accused me of having big boobs, I think they are perfectly adequate btw. I'm 5'9 72kg bang on size 12 with 32F boobs

dementedpixie · 15/06/2019 09:26

There is no one size F cup as the cup size is related to the back size. A 30F is far smaller than 36F

gingercat02 · 15/06/2019 09:27

I buy my bras from Belle Lingerie as they are hard to find in most shops (and they are loads cheaper online). I had Bravissimo nursing bras and they were amazing

HermioneWeasley · 15/06/2019 09:29

Brastop.com has a good range

Littlemisslists · 15/06/2019 09:32

Rigby and pellar and bravissimo.

HoobleDooble · 15/06/2019 09:50

An F cup isn't what it used to be (when it was all fields round here etc etc). In the old days of measuring your full bust measurement would have to be 11 inches bigger than your rib cage measurement, and now it's only 7. I went from a 42E to a 38H overnight. The only problem with buying online I find is sometimes they still use the outdated methods of measuring. I go to Debenhams and try them on.

BuffaloCauliflower · 15/06/2019 09:54

OP I’m 5”2, size 12 and chubby and a 32FF, my boobs are really not very big. I would suggest you’re not wearing the right size. Here’s the Boob or Bust calculator, what does it say when you add your measurements?

Another vote for Prima Donna deauvile, won’t wear anything else.

I am a huge fan of the Goddess range. Excellent for the larger bust - you feel really supported and things look a lot perkier than other bras I have tried!

A bit pricey (£38-£40) but worth it in my opinion.

Overseasmom100 · 15/06/2019 10:16

Bravissimo but go in get properly measured. They are amazing and discreet. Do lovely swimwear as well

MyNameIsCharlesII · 15/06/2019 10:18

F isn’t big for a size 12. I’m a 32G and it’s really just over a handful.

As others have said either get to a Bravissimo or use booborbust to measure yourself.

MyNameIsCharlesII · 15/06/2019 10:23

I’m not saying you don’t have big boobs by the way, just that you’re probably wearing the wrong size. If you’re a size 12 then your back is probably 30/32” at most. I’m a cuddly size 14 and 5’9 and my back is 32”.

KatyMac · 15/06/2019 10:25

F? Big? Nah!
DD is a size 8/10 (well her waits is a size 4 apparently) & is a 28FF & her first bra should have been a 26DD - now that is a hard bra to find!

I am a not unsubstantial 34H, but they would like me to be in a 32J - we just can't find a shop with one in stock - If I bought a top to fit my ribcage and shoulders I'd also be a size 10 but my boobs make me a 14!

QueenRefusenik · 15/06/2019 10:31

32f here and a big fan of these from m&s - they have the added benefit you can probably go and try them on, unlike buying online where I inevitably find one manufacturer's f is nowhere near the same as another's...

Most large Asda have a range of large cup bras. They are really cheap and vary from the show it off type to the comfy.
I think they start at around 5.00 and have different types of matching briefs as well do you can get a full set under 10.00.

SoyDora · 15/06/2019 11:32

I’m a size 10 and a 30J! It sounds like you might be wearing bras that are too big around the back and too small on the cup.

KenAdams · 15/06/2019 11:34

Bravissimo, Figleaves, Brastop, Leia lingerie, ASOS, Debenhams, John Lewis, Pour Moi, Freya, Next, loads of places. Have you even Googled?

katewhinesalot · 15/06/2019 11:49

Debenhams "gorgeous dd" range. Very inexpensive compared to many.

I need a much smaller band size than in other brands so you might need to try them on.

HSKNT · 15/06/2019 11:52

I'm a size 20 top and a 38F. I like the ASDA ones

HoppyHop · 15/06/2019 12:01

Debenhams have a great selection for the larger boobed. They also have a great sale on at the moment. I got 3 bras (1 was a Fantasie) for £45 this week. I'm a 34GG.
