Left shopping in the shop. Came back and of course it had gone. I sometimes feel like I am the only honest person (who would hand it in to the sales assistant) but I know I am not having read the good news feed or whatever it is in the Metro where they thank people who have helped them/handed in their phoneetc.

Makes me so cross!

What do you mean? Food shopping? Clothes shopping? What happens at the till? Do you just wander off?

ReganSomerset · 14/06/2019 19:55

What gits. Sorry, OP.

You're not the only one, I'm honest too.
Last year we got scammed £500 for a hot tub that didn't exist, then I had my bank card stolen on my bloody birthday of all days and they went on a contactless spending spree.
I think it's worse when you're honest and it happens to you. Makes me sick!
Hopefully Karma will see you right, but if you're anything like me Karma doesn't seem to exist!

Well for once I used the - what do you call it- can't remember the bloody name - the machines you scan stuff ? I must have left them 'in the baggage area'. I already had three bags with me so the intention was to put them in one of my bags. When I got to the library I looked for the card I had bought and it wasn't there and nor were the 2 books I bought.

Bummer!

I've done that before in Aldi... came back and the staff had it and even replaced all my frozen and fridge stuff. 😁

Not normally I am not that dopey but it has happened before when I have a few bags of shopping.

What got me was it was right by their tills. Bit unreasonable I suppose though to expect the sales Assistant to notice though.

It just rankles me that some people take anything with no conscience.

I remember at school a girl had left her 'Tressie' doll behind. I kept looking at it and wanted it. However I knew it was wrong, plus my mum would have noticed the new doll and asked where I got it from - I always wonder why parents don't notice kids getting new stuff or accepting their explanations blindly. I remember saving up my dinner money for some Helena Rubinstein foundation which was on sale in a shop (decades ago when I was still at school and HR was in the UK). My mum accused me of stealing and I had to get my friend to tell her I had not.

It's horrible isn't it.

I was in a changing cubicle and exited it without my other two bags with new clothes in for approx 2 mins before I realised and ran back, bags gone! Staff no help 🤷🏻‍♀️.

I hope they didn't bloody fit her.
