Does anyone else's items at home do this?

Only my items in the full house grow legs and take themselves off on an adventure with no assistance from anyone else in the household

Running late on the school run, took my necklace off as it was annoying me, left it on the counter. (Which I never do because of this reason- my mistake)
Went to put it away that night and its gone.
No one has seen it, no one has moved it.
It grew legs and took itself on an adventure- who knows when it may return.

Dh and the 2 dc can leave items anywhere in the house and I do not touch them. If they have made a mess i will point it out and ask them to deal with it but I will not touch it as it's not mine to rearrange.

I very rarely leave stuff lying around because of this. Lesson learned again.
Anyone else have this issue in their house or just me?

This drives me absolutely mental. There are two of us in my house and I think we have either a ghost or someone else living in the loft as my teen swears blind that she doesn’t move stuff that I KNOW I’ve left in a certain place. Drinks/food also disappear but that’s not her either 🙄

I'm so glad it's not only this house.
For a while I thought I was losing my mind. Everyone else's things stay where they leave them. Mine always go a walk.
I have 3 other people to work out who the culprate is but I will find out 😂

I live alone - except I think, for the ghost of my auntie who lived here for 50 years before I bought the house from the estate on her death. It's often modern things that she doesn't approve of that go missing but it can be anything.

I am sure there is a black hole in every home. That is where my socks all go!
