Passport application , roughly how long ?

Any one applied recently ? How long did it take ? Getting nervous going away in four weeks ?

Is it a renewal? When I did ours online it took about 10-12 days

Adult renewal took one week start to finish earlier this year

Just had my daughters renewal back today. Took 10 days all in.

First child's passport for DD, applied on 4th June online, friend verified online the same evening, posted birth certificate next day. Had a text yesterday from passport office (13th June) to say everything was approved and it would be dispatched shortly and they would message me once it had been dispatched. So probably a 2-3 week turnaround at the current time for a new passport.

16 days here and that includes a cock up on my part

I did it online and it took pretty much exactly two weeks, and most of the hold up was me forgetting to post my old one back. The service is excellent now you can do it all online.

I applied for my first passport 3 years ago, between filling in the application (on paper) going for an interview and receiving passport 3 week's, i had plenty time until i was going on holiday when i received it.

It's a child's renewal , so fingers crossed 😀
