Am I slightly insane?

Reading a thread on here recently I came across a link to some realistic baby dolls and I really really want one!

They are like reborn dolls but different make.

Am I insane to consider buying one, I wouldn't play with it as such just maybe look at it admire the detail, also quite often I look at baby clothes in the shops so I could buy some for the doll. Baby clothes are so cute.

I know I know I'm probably broody or a bit insane and it's a waste of money.

My own two children are much older now, one in college and one in last year of primary. I could potentially biologically have another but not sure I actually want one! When our kids were little we didn't have that much money to buy nice clothes.

Also we have two cats and a dog so I'm already "mothering" them.

And potentially I could keep this doll for any future grandchildren if we have any come to play (or my friends kids could play with it when at mine as we don't actually have many kids toys anymore)

Am I crazy and am I allowed to post a link to the doll haha

PS. I have a job, family, friends and hobbies and appear a normal functioning adult

If you can afford one then go for it, it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks. There is obviously a market for it
